Can I go to your store & have the same price as the Internet? |
|
|
NO, Internet price's are only if you buy online. You do have the option to come into the store to pickup & pay for it, but you must have purchased online first, the reason for this is the lack of costs & commissions involved with internet sales, plus the superior advice and service in store.
You can buy online and chose "pick up & pay" option from any of our stores, see a list of our stores in the "Contact us" link.

How do I become a member? |
|
|
Membership cost $20.00 or is free after your first purchase, setting up an account dose not make you a member.
There are three ways to become a member:
- Find a, become a member & pay $20.00 & wait one day or
- Buy something related to the product you want first, then wait one day to be registered, or
- Add become a member to the cart at the time of purchase. (you will not see member pricing this way you will think you are paying non member pricing but you will be charged the member price) Please note some times the saving is the same cost as membership.
Once you become a member you will enjoy cheaper prices on all our products all the time.

How do I place an order? |
|

Click on "My Account" on the blue menu bar then open an account where it says "Not a member yet? Create an Account here".
Click on the image of the product you want and select any accessories you want with it (These will be at prices that will never be offered again) click on Add to Basket, then checkout if you are finished, enter you email address and password, then follow the easy instructions.

Which methods of payment can I use to place an order? |
|
We accepts all major credit cards including, VISA (preferred), Master Card, Dinners (+3.5%), and American Express (+3%). Information such as your current billing address and phone number is required in order to avoid any delays in processing your order.
Personal and Company checks are acceptable when issued for payment by a Australian bank. All C.O.D. parcels will have a $5.50 fee. Wire transfers or direct deposits are made possible the details are:

Are there any additional costs other than those listed on-line? |
|
Total charges will include precisely what is indicated on our web site. It will comprise the sum of the items ordered, plus shipping & handling based on the 'ship to' location. American Express & Dinners cards attract 3% a surcharge.

All shipping rates within Australia are $20.00 for post & approximately $1.00 per $100.00 for insurance. However if you have many, small, light or very large items this may change.

Due to the continual expansion of the market, as well as certain manufacturer's restrictions we are often unable to list all the merchandise and choices of different brands we actually have available. What might cause my Address Verification (AV) to fail? |
|
|
You must supply the billing address for the card you used. If you want goods sent to your work place. (Because you are more likely to be there, than at home when goods are delivered, we do understand). Or you are purchasing a gift, and would like it sent directly to the recipient. You will be supplying a 'ship to' address. A 'ship to' address on it's own will fail Address Verification.
If you supply a phone number other than your home phone, AV will fail. Mobile phone numbers and unlisted numbers will fail AV. Free E-mail addresses are an instant AV fail.

How can I check the current status of an order, or change info on an order that was already placed? |
|
All orders are processed within 24 hours of being placed. If any item is temporarily out of stock, notification will be made by phone or e-mail as soon as possible. One to two business days from the date of order should be allotted before calling 61 02 9232 4500 or to retrieve a tracking number on-line on your shipment.

Traveling overseas? |
|
If you are traveling overseas you can purchase goods "duty free" under the Tourist Refund Scheme. This is explained in detail on the web site of the Australian Customs Service. Simply, it means that you can buy goods at the normal, GST included prices. With the Tax Invoice (we provide) you can get a refund of the GST at the airport, if you take the goods out of Australia within 30 days. Since cameras don't carry duty, this way you end up paying the duty free price.

Availability of hot products. |

Sometimes products are in such demand that we receive only a fraction of what we ordered, in these cases none will be allocated for Internet sales until supply's get better, any orders we receive we be treated as deposits.

Typographical Errors |
|
In the event a product is listed at an incorrect price or with incorrect information due to typographical error or error in pricing or product information, digitalhouse.net.au shall have the right to refuse or cancel any orders placed for product listed at the incorrect price. We shall have the right to refuse or cancel any such orders whether or not the order has been confirmed and your credit card charged. If your credit card has already been charged for the purchase and your order is canceled, we shall issue a credit to your credit card account in the amount of the charge.

Updating your Email address |
|
To update your account email address you will need to contact sales@digitalcity.net.au with your request, the new email address and the current password for
your account. Please allow up to 48 hours for our customer service team to update your account. Once your
account is updated, the new email address will be required to sign in and all emails regarding future orders
will be sent to the new email address.

Retrieving your Password |
|
To have your account password sent to you, click on the "Retrieve password" link on the
sign in and modify your profile page, or directly by visiting our Retrieve password page. Type
the your account email address in the email input box, then click "Retrieve". Please note
the email address you enter in the email input box must match your account email address.

Order Status |
|
You can track the status of your order by clicking the Order Status link in the top right corner
or side navigation bar of most pages on our site. Here you can track your order as it moves through the
various stages of the order process.
Simply select the order number you want to track. The status of the order will reflect one of the following:
- In Process. We have received
your order and are in the process of confirming payment, verifying delivery address, product availability and preparing for dispatch.
- Dispatched. We have successfully
received your payment and your order is currently on route via the delivery method selected at checkout.
- Completed. We have been informed
by the delivery carrier that your order has been delivered. If you have not received your order
or instructions on how to collect your order please Contact us immediately.
- Pending. We are awaiting
payment or in the process of credit card verification. Your order will be dispatched upon approval.
- Back Ordered. We are currently
awaiting inventory in our warehouse.
- Cancelled. Your order has been
cancelled due to discontinued products or your request.
- Returned. Your order has been
returned to our warehouse and either payment has been reversed or we are in the process of exchange.
- Unavailable. We are unable to
verify the status of your order and will contact you shortly.

Return Policy |

Goods purchased from Digital House can be returned within fourteen 14 days
of purchase:
- If found to be faulty for exchange or repair at the manufacturers discretion.
- For exchange providing goods are returned in their original unopened packaging.
Proof of Purchase is required with any return.
For any return you will need to obtain a return authorisation from our company. Please do
not return any items without our Return Authorisation (Number). We do not accept
responsibility for items returned without our Return Authorisation.
